I am 39 years old male and I was wiring the electricity in the house and suddenly a small piece of wire got stuck in the thumb of my left foot and at that time I did not feel any pain and today I am having pain in my thumb and swelling has also come there, please tell me some treatment

Don't do anything yourself..go to a nearest hospital..they will give a Tt injection and will prescribe cefixime tablet twice daily..

Take inj. Tetanus toxoid. Tab cefixime 200mg one morning and one evening for 5days. Tab zerodol sp one every 12 hours for 4 days, after meals. Do some ice compression and also warm compression,  2 to 3 times daily.

From the picture you have shown, I don’t see any open wound or any foreign particle. If you feel that the particle is still inside go to nearby clinic to remove it in sterile manner to prevent further infection.

For Pain take paracetamol for 3 days, in the morning and night. Apply neosporin ointment on it.
