If you were bitten by a dog 8 months ago and you completed the full course of rabies vaccination, but you are now experiencing symptoms, you should visit a nearby doctor for consultation

Are you unable to drink water or feel uncomfortable after seeing it? Did you not take anti rabies vaccine then? Answer to above questions is needed so that I can help you further. Get your b.p., blood sugar,  Haemoglobin checked and share results. Take some rehydrating fluids for hot weather, take due precautions while moving in hot sun. Avoid fatty,  spicy, food.

"It is important to understand that while Rabies has a variable incubation period, it is highly unlikely for clinical symptoms to appear 8 months after a bite without any prior signs. The 'swallowing difficulty' (shallow problem) and 'dizziness' you are experiencing are very common symptoms of severe anxiety or panic disorder, often triggered by the fear of the disease itself rather than the virus. If a dog survives for 10 days after biting, it is a clinical confirmation that the animal did not have rabies at the time of the bite
Next Steps
Verify the Dog's Health: If you can still see the dog or know it survived for two weeks after the bite, you can rest 100% assured that you are safe. Physical Examination: Consult a General Physician for a physical check-up. They can check your throat and neurological reflexes to rule out any physical cause for your dizziness. Mental Health Support: Since this fear is causing you physical distress 8 months later, speaking to a counselor can help manage this 'Rabies Phobia' (Lyssophobia). Vaccination Status: If you never took the vaccine after the bite, you can still take a 'Pre-Exposure' or delayed course for future mental peace, though it isn't medically urgent for an 8-month-old bite from a healthy dog.
Health Tips
Have you taken any vaccination till now? need some information from your side to better understand and give you better advice and management  so For a detailed clinical evaluation of your dizziness, a discussion on the '10-day observation' rule, and direct follow-up, you can consult me directly through my profile
