Yes I had seen few teenagers developing metastatic colorectal cancers while I was a consultant at an Oncology centre. One such girl I came across was an MBBS 2 nd year student who had to undergo diversion stoma because of obstructive colorectal cancer and thereafter landed up for Chemotherapy. Hence she could nt complete her graduation too. Risk is much higher if associated with a family history.
