SURGERY RECOMMENDED BY DR
Doctor, I wanted to inform you that I live in Saudi Arabia. Until 2 days ago, I never had any issue while walking — no pain or difficulty at all. But 2 days ago, while taking a shower, my back suddenly became stiff and locked. Since then, I have been having difficulty especially after sleeping and waking up. I am also not able to sit properly in the washroom. I consulted an orthopedic doctor here, and he recommended surgery as early as possible. I wanted to ask for your opinion — should I really go for discectomy  L3-4  L5-S1 with pedicular screws from L3 to S1  (8 screw) & rod , or are there any other treatment options I should consider first?
