Bcos of covid infection stress as well as bcos of  steroid usage sugar levels were increased. It could be stress hyperglycaemia versus prior  undetected diabetes . Go for HbA1C ,if it's level is increased then treatment has to be continued even if  steroids stopped. Daily life won't be effected even if diabetes diagnosed if sugars were maintained in optimal range.
