Sugar as side effect
During covid treatment of my father,  steroids are used and now suger level was very high , insulin is being used to control sugar. Is it a temporary issue or he has become diabetic now and medication will be needed always.

Usually if non diabetic previously this diabetes is due to medicines used currently for covid treatment. Once the treatment is over sugars will come down automatically and slowly reduce and stop medicines for sugar.
