Dexona steroid in pregnancy diabetes
My wife is 34 weeks pregnant with diabetes and on insulin injection 3 times a day. Our gynae has prescribed Dexona steroid 8mg injection for 3 days. Our diabetologist has recommended us to increase the insulin units and manage it at home. Do we need to admit her at hospital or we can manage the sugar increase due to steroids at home with insulin increase.
