Itching is a sign of fungal infection
In the absence of adequate oral aunti fungal treatment you will not be cured
Fungus is mostly resistant to fluconazole
The drug of choice there is itraconazole
Which may be unsafe in lactation
But you have to weigh the benefits and the risks
