To start with, anxiety is a kind of natural response of your body to too much amount of stress or pressure over some task. In such situations, people feel very much nervous and fearful of what would be the outcome of the thing theyâre going to do; will they succeed in it or not; what would happen if they fail. All these thoughts are not at all healthy for your mind and can turn to a mental disorder.
There are some steps that you can take to cope up with your anxiety and overcome the unwanted situations of panic, which eventually makes you mentally strong too. Some of the best approaches are listed here:
Cut out some time for yourself - It is beneficial to take some time out from your hectic daily routine with a lot of pressure of work or difficult tasks. Just give yourself a space to relax, be it by listening to music, watching your favorite tv series, playing a game that calms your mind and makes you feel relaxed, or even get a massage. When you have a calm mind, you can always return to your work and you would perform even better than before.
Eat well - It never means to eat a lot more than your appetite. Just have well-balanced food, providing your body with equal amounts of every required nutrient, and never skip any meals. Always have an energy-booster with you, that can be your favorite cookie or a chocolate bar that you like the most.
Have sound sleep - This is one of the most common and best advice you would receive to cope up with your anxiety or stress. Anxiety leads to a lot fo extra load or pressure on your mind that makes any work that you do less efficient. In such cases, it is best to give you a good amount of rest and keep yourself recharged and refreshed. You must take more than 8 hours of sound sleep daily.
Meditate - Practicing meditation and yoga regularly will always make your lifestyle better. By adding mindful meditation to your daily routine, you are training your mind to dismiss anxious thoughts when they arise. It also helps to focus better on your work and increases your productivity and efficiency. Daily yoga or exercise keeps you fit, as it is said,â A healthy mind is only in a healthy body.â
Talk to someone - You can always lighten up your mind by talking to talking to someone about your anxiety. Always welcome suggestions from your beloved ones like your family and friends. If you feel absurd talking to your family on this matter, you can very well open up to someone who values your words and can give you very well suggestions to cope up with it. You can always visit a therapist for professional help.

Health Tips
ask your dad not to talk about his friend till she gets proper treatment
Hi, it looks like your mother feels stressed and uncomfortable around your fathers friend. It looks like your fathers friend has a negative effect on your mother to a point of it affecting her health. I recommend that your mother consult a psychologist and Counseling sessions will help her. A psychologist will assess what about your fathers friend is stressing your mother. A psychologist will help and guide your mother with ways to manage stress and feel calm.
It looks like that, some information about that person or some incident which which was involved by that person, has disturbed her in the past..
If she could speak about that problem to a confidential person to vent out her feelings as Anger, Irritation etc., probably she might feel better..
Next Steps
You can fix an appointment with a therapist on behalf of her..
Hi.... Does she behaves in this manner often in various other circumstances or just in context of that particular person.
If this behaviour occurs only in context of that particular person, there might be some history to it. Or he/that situation may remind her of someone/something towards which she has such predetermined response pattern.
If this is how she often responds in various other circumstances than there is a possibility of some underlying psychological cause. In that case you need to take her to a Psychologist or take an online consultation.
If she can start some breathing exercises (Deep Breathing, Alternate Nostril Breathing) daily for 20-25 min. Morning and Evening and any physical exercise/sport daily for 40-45 minutes, it will help.
