I suffered from cervical vertigo in 2023 and since then I have had sudden anxiety/panic attacks. For the initial one month the doctor prescribed me Camdem-10 which worked great. But after a few months of stopping this medicine I started getting anxious again. When I feel too anxious I take one Camdem-5 tablet before sleep and it works and for a few days I feel good but eventually the anxiety comes back. How to work on its root cause and get rid of it permanently?

Hi
Thanks for reaching out. Consult a psychiatrist about medication. Consult a psychologist for counselling sessions. With a psychologist you can talk about what is making you feel anxious. Based on what you have mentioned I suggest consulting a psychiatrist and psychologist. A mental health professional will help determine the root cause of anxiety.

Hi,
It's important to address both the symptoms and the root causes of your anxiety. While medications can provide temporary relief, they don't resolve the underlying issues contributing to your anxiety. Consider seeking help from a mental health professional, such as a therapist or counselor, who can work with you to explore your feelings, identify triggers, and develop coping strategies tailored to your needs. Additionally, incorporating mindfulness practices, regular exercise, a healthy diet, and adequate sleep can significantly improve your mental well-being. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is particularly effective for anxiety and can help change thought patterns that contribute to your anxiety. Remember, healing takes time, so be patient with yourself as you work towards a healthier mindset.
You can explore the root cause for your anxiety and the also the cervical Vertigo with talk therapy with a psychotherapist. If you have been under stress lately, it can trigger the anxiety and panic attacks.
It sounds like your anxiety and panic attacks may have been triggered by your experience with cervical vertigo, and while medication provided temporary relief, the recurring symptoms indicate that the underlying cause hasnât been fully addressed. Anxiety can often become a learned response to physical discomfort or fear of recurrence.
Next Steps
Consult your doctor or a psychiatrist to discuss long-term anxiety management strategies. Consider Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address anxiety patterns. Practice relaxation techniques like deep breathing, progressive muscle relaxation, or mindfulness. Maintain good cervical health with physiotherapy, posture correction, and regular movement. Track triggersâwhat situations or thoughts increase anxiety?
Health Tips
â Limit caffeine and screen time before bed. â Journaling can help process anxious thoughts. â Try guided meditation or grounding exercises during panic moments. â Seek support from a therapist for structured coping strategies.
It needs to be treated in a holistic approach for complete recovery otherwise it may get complicated.

Experiencing anxiety and panic attacks after cervical vertigo can be distressing, and while medications like Camdem-10 or Camdem-5 provide temporary relief, they do not address the root cause of anxiety. Medicines can create a supportive environment for healing, but without psychotherapy and proper psychological intervention, they may not lead to long-term results.
To achieve lasting relief from anxiety, it is essential to learn effective techniques to manage and reduce anxious thoughts and physical symptoms. Therapy can help you understand the triggers of your anxiety, reframe negative thought patterns, and develop coping strategies that promote emotional resilience.
