Stopping tegretol 200mg.

Asked for Female, 31 Years

I've been on tegretol for 3 weeks 200mg for anxiety. My anxiety has not improved and I have developed some depression which I never had an issue with before the med. I cannot get in to see my psychiatrist for two weeks. Is it safe to stop taking this med at this dose?
