If the stone didn't get expelled out or repeated pain and obstructive symtoms with derranged rft, then intervention is required to safeguard the kidney.

It's not a dogmatic rule that stone ll definitely pass in xyz days. A stone pf this size is likely to pass. But in case she has severe pain she ll need intervention
