Stomach pain problem

Hi Doctor. My husband is having stomach pain in left part of stomach. This is happening since some days. I am doubting it might b because of gas also but I m not sure. Please suggest how this pain can happen? Is it because of gas or anything else is there.

Hello The causes of left sided pain include - APD (gastric problem), left renal stone or functional bowel disease to name common ones. If trail of PPI(gas tablets) has failed I would suggest you to consult a physician or Gastroenterologist. You may also require USG abdomen and Upper GI endoscopy to r/o other passibilities.
