I would recommend focusing on hydration and rest rather than immediate medication. Most cases are caused by a viral infection and resolve on their own within 24 hours.
Next Steps
Do not give fruit juices, fizzy drinks, or dairy for at least 24 hours after vomiting stops, as these can worsen nausea or lead to diarrhea.
Health Tips
Do not give antivomiting or antidiarrheal medications without a pediatrician's advice. Some adult drugs or remedies can be dangerous for young children. Take your daughter to the emergency room if No urine for more than 8 hours, dark urine, very dry mouth, no tears when crying, or extreme sleepiness. Constant or severe abdominal pain, especially on the lower right side, hard belly. Bright green yellow (bile) vomit or that looks like coffee grounds or contains blood. Vomiting that lasts more than 24 hours or the inability to keep down even small sips of water for several hours
