Your symptoms are suggestive of gastritis Eat light meals, avoid oily/spicy food, tea/coffee, and don’t lie down immediately after eating.
Next Steps
• If pain persists beyond a week despite medication, or if you develop vomiting, black stools, blood in vomit, unexplained weight loss, or persistent night pain, consult a gastroenterologist for upper GI endoscopy. • Consider ultrasound abdomen if symptoms continue to rule out gallbladder or liver issues.
Health Tips
• Elevate the head end while sleeping to reduce reflux. • Avoid alcohol, smoking, and late-night meals. • Do not self-medicate with painkillers (NSAIDs), as they may worsen gastritis.
