Sore throat,fever
Dear doctor, I have worked for 3 days with good sleep.i had sore throat day before yesterday,then followed by fever since yesterday (took dolo - one tab at night) But today temp is between 100-102,took azthomisinc 1tab and 3 dolo tab. Please suggest next step

If you have are taking Azithromycin continue taking it for 3 days at least. If it doesn't subside you will need to change the antibiotic. Antibiotic may not help at all if it is a viral infection. Consult at your convenience.

Don't take dolo so much you are literally abusing it give time to body to respond try steroidal tablets instead of the infection is bothering you ,i can help you with further management kindly consult me.

Continue Azithromycin and take Dolo thrice a day especially when your fever spikes . Use betadine gargling for sore throat relief If you continue to have fever , get the following tests : CBC Peripheral smear CRP This will indicate if there is a bacterial or a viral infection Monitor for any cough or breathing difficulty and saturation since COVID is still prevalent

Bed rest if fever continue tomorrow get it done CBP, RFT. Review after report Continue treatment +anti histaminic +multivitamin
