Sore throat
Am having sore throat issue for the past 2 months, consulted 2 doctors but i didn't get cure. Now I consulted another doctor, she prescribed agumentin 625 for 5 days, daily 3 doses. Along with Pan D and Zerodol SP. Is this high dosage? How to overcome sideeffects.

Hello... i guess the dose is right considering ur weight n age, throat pain from 2 months can be infective or due to acidity ( Relfux).... if u have post nasal drip then can be a sinus cause... it can be tonsillitis, pharyngitis or styalgia .. get examined once

Considering ur age and assuming ur weight to be normal , augmentin 625 tid is not a high dose..u can take it, if there is a source of infection..to over come side effects take augmentin n zerodal sp after food and pan d on empty stomach..avoid spicy and oily diet , cold foods , frequent sips of water
