Hello Sir/Madam,
I have consulted a psychologist & she told me that i am having all the symptoms of Social Anxiety Disorder. I am 21 years of age. In past, i have never been to any psychologist but then i remembered that i felt from time to time that something is not right with me. There was always some kind of fear in childhood when i was kind of 6-7 years of age. At that time or before or after that, i don't think that everything was right between my parents. I didn't like to be at home with my sister or parents. I felt irritated & didn't want to talk to them. I think my father is & was also suffering from Severe Anxiety & he was unable to talk to me or look after my family. I think my father felt so weak mentally & even now he can't talk to me if he wants to. So, i wanted to ask if Child Neglect(a Mild one) can cause Social Anxiety? And how it can badly effect?

Hello. Any anxiety disorder has a genetic basis as well as being affected by parenting. Hence, the fact that your father suffers from a severe anxiety disorder means that you are genetically vulnerable. We tend to try to find explanations for what has happened. It would do you good to remember however that the past cannot be changed and the future is unpredictable for everyone. Living in the present is what we can do. Regarding the severity, the psychiatrist who treats you can tell you about how severe the anxiety disorder is.
Next Steps
Talk to your psychiatrist and ask him/ her your doubts.

When will you grow up my dear man?!
If you know what is all wrong, wat is so important in sticking to it?
If you do not like it throw from your thoughts rather than talking and thinking and blaming others for what you are today.
Next Steps
I think you need to learn to take responsibility about yourself.
Do consult a psychologist
Social anxiety disorder, also called social phobia, is an anxiety disorder in which a person has an excessive and unreasonable fear of social situations. Anxiety (intense nervousness) and self-consciousness arise from a fear of being closely watched, judged, and criticized by others.
Symptoms include: Tremors, feeling anxious or nervous, sense of panic, sweating, increased heartbeat, feeling of impending doom, stomach discomfort, dizziness etc
These can be debilitating. If the anxiety us overwhelming, consult a psychiatrist at the earliest. With the right medication and counseling, it is likely your symptoms will improve. Other than that, try yoga, deep breathing, meditation, moderate exercise, progressive muscular relaxation and guided meditation.
