Skin allergy of my daughter of 7 years

Asked for Female, 7 Years

Hello dr My daughter is having skin allergy since last week .itching nd then swelling with redness. I visited doc. He has prescribed Atarax 4mg 3 times.but wid that it didn't go completely so now he prescribed enzocort oral suspension 7.5ml 2 times after food..so i am worried because it is a steroid so is it safe to give her, her weight is 39.9 kg ..plz reply
