Skin allergy
I have been having allergy on my legs and other body parts, I had consulted a doctor, she gave me tube betnovate and identified as some fungal/bacterial infection. Told me to retain moisture in the skin. But I am having it repeatedly. It leaves marks after it recovers. I have itching when it first develops.

Fungal infection.. Also called jock itch, when occurs in groin.. Usually fungal infection is common in moist areas of body like skin folds..It's mostly circular or round in appearance.. May be red or black in colour.. Treatment depending on the type and severity.. I don't think you met a dermatologist . No dermatologist will say its an infection and give a steroid cream for it. Without examination of the skin condition and knowing the extent of involvement.. along with this more information on ongoing medication or previous history of skin illness it is not possible to comment on the treatment that would suit you best. Please get the problem checked thoroughly by visiting a qualified dermatologist. Hope this is helpful.
