Hi my husband is suffering from skin allergy its spreading and itching .we used to apply oil so sometimes it will dry and clear again appears and spreading large now we are applying betnovate ointment. So what's the treatment and what allergy is this ,is this dangerous?

Your husband is living dangerously using Betnovate as this is a potent steroid and should not be used indiscriminately. Assume this has not been prescribed by a qualified Dermatologist and if so, would have been for a limited time frame.
It appears to have masked the underlying disease and as rightly pointed out, more than likely to be a fungal aeitology that has become Incognito 🥸 now.
More details will be required on the treatment and the progression of this issue from its onset. Also your husband's medical, personal, family history etc needs to be elicited in detail. Further lab tests including a simple skin scraping for KOH may also be in order.

Based on the image and symptoms, this looks like a fungal infection (tinea / ringworm) rather than an allergy. It tends to spread with itching. Using Betnovate (steroid cream) may give temporary relief but actually worsens and spreads the infection.

This is a fungal infection called Tinea, which can sometimes be suppressed by some OTC products I.e., Betnovate (Steroid cream) but the moment you stop it the fungus starts multiplying faster and make the condition difficult to diagnose also as the original picture of the disease get distorted.
