Based on your symptoms of chest discomfort, throat discomfort, fast breathing, and hot flashes, it’s essential to rule out any serious cardiac issues. However, since your previous ECGs, chest X-rays, and stress echo have come back normal, the likelihood of a cardiac event seems lower. Your doctor suspects acid reflux, which can often cause symptoms similar to angina, including chest and throat discomfort. If your symptoms are persistent or feel significantly different from your usual ones, repeating the echo might provide some peace of mind, although it’s not always necessary if recent tests were normal. Following the advice regarding reflux medication is also a good approach, as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) can cause these symptoms. For a more comprehensive evaluation and to address your concerns thoroughly, I recommend consulting with me directly for a detailed discussion and treatment plan. You can also WhatsApp me at eight, zero, zero, nine, eight, two, one, three, three, two for further advice.
