Try working your shoulder from near your body. The far the shoulder is in front or in side, more the stress on the muscles., Start using a pillow in the night as it will remove the need to put the shoulder under the head. Keep on moving the shoulder as much as you can tolerate.

It is probably related to your neck muscles like trapezius that tends to become tight due to its continues use while using phone ,laptop or reading. This pain can radiate to shoulder or even hand sometimes. Use heating on shoulder. Avoid any exercises. Get properly checked by a physio nearby.
