You may use light resistance band/Theraband for strengthening for both shoulder and cervical. It will give you quick results probably with in 15 days you will see the difference.

If your shoulder MRI is normal but you are still experiencing pain, it is important to understand that pain does not always correlate with imaging findings.
Persistent shoulder pain can be due to:
Cervical spine involvement (nerve irritation or referred pain)
Scapular muscle imbalance
Postural dysfunction (forward head / rounded shoulders)
Myofascial trigger points
Residual inflammation with poor muscle control
Cervical spine–related shoulder pain is quite common in young individuals, especially with prolonged mobile or laptop use. If neck movements increase or reproduce your shoulder pain, cervical origin should be considered.
A detailed physical examination including: • Cervical ROM testing
Spurling’s test
Shoulder special tests
Scapular assessment
is necessary to differentiate the exact cause.
Next Steps
Consult a physiotherapist for a thorough cervical and scapular assessment. Treatment may include: • Postural correction exercises
• Deep neck flexor strengthening
• Scapular stabilization exercises
• Neural mobility exercises (if required)
Health Tips
Avoid prolonged mobile usage
• Maintain upright posture
• Avoid sleeping without proper neck support
• Do not rely only on MRI reports — clinical examination is more important
A clear MRI is actually a positive sign; it means there is no major structural damage like a rotator cuff tear that would require surgery. Your pain is real, but it is likely functional rather than structural.
your physiotherapistâs focus on your cervical area is actually a very logical step based on your clinical history.
I need to check the USG so I can comment on it, but if you have pain start using cold pac for 15 min 3 times for 15 days with it start strengthening exercise for should
Gud morning sir,May b cervical also involved ..But also didn't mention wheather u lifted the weight or something keep on stesdi g on the shoulder..or Continuously going a long ride..
Next Steps
Just visit the Orthopaedic physio..Suggest the SWD for pain n Strengthing exercises,,ROM activities
Yes the pain of neck is radiating to shoulder, often physio rule out this and do only shoulder thing.
Take proper treatment for cervical and if possible take an X-ray of the cervical spine share, there are chances that the discs got some issue which is causing radiating pain, the pain will not be in neck but only shoulder and hand.
Maintain proper posture and take physiotherapy treatment for cervical spine.

Hii dear,
I can understand your confusion and frustration persistent shoulder pain can be very exhausting, especially when reports look normal.
The important thing to know is that MRI or USG being normal does NOT always mean the pain source is gone. In many young patients, shoulder pain often comes from: • Cervical spine involvement (neck posture, muscle spasm, nerve irritation) • Scapular muscle imbalance or weakness • Trigger points or faulty movement patterns
This kind of pain does not always show clearly on scans but can be identified through a detailed clinical assessment.
I would suggest a proper neck + shoulder functional evaluation, posture analysis, and targeted physiotherapy focusing on cervical correction, muscle balance, and pain relief, not just machines.
With the right approach, these cases usually improve well. If you’re comfortable, we can plan a session to assess the root cause and start specific treatment accordingly.
Greetings from Rid of Pain Physiotherapy
Change the physio. Only US won't help u. We need to work on the root cause. That can be diagnosed with the proper assessment.
