Was there any recent history of heavy work outs? If so, give rest for few days. If there is an injury or jerk, you need a clinical examination.

There are various reasons for muscle spasm.. How did it started.. was there any injury or jerk..

You can start with hot fomentation,  take analgesic with muscle relaxant tablet, apply analgesic ointment locally at the site of pain..
