Should tetanus shot be taken
Hello,
My father got a broken bangle stuck in his toe. It bleed few drops of blood but it stopped after that. Should he take tetanus shot. Please suggest

If it is a clean wound, and TT has been taken within 10 years, no need.
If wound is dirty and TT taken within 5 years, no need.
In any other case, take TT.
For more information check tetanus prophylaxis on CDC website.
