Short term memory loss
My father is a 67 year old man. He went for a meeting. He felt weak. However, he gave his speech and after the speech when his friends asked him why he did not mention certain points? He looked blank at them. He said "what did I say? Why am i here? Which place is this?" His friend explained to him why he was there and what he spoke etc. It took him almost 45 mins to normal. So we are very concerned as to why it happened? Which doctor should we consult?

It could have been a Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA). It occurs because of transient interruption in the blood supply to brain. Consult a Neurologist for detailed examination. TIA are indicative of future stroke risk and should be taken seriously. There can be other reasons also for such incident, but first of all we need to rule out TIA.
