Shivering with Loose motions
Hi, I got moderate fever (99) with cramps in stomach and shivering due to cold temperature in Delhi 2 days back. I took paracetamol and plenty of fluids to combat the situation. I also ordered chicken soup from a restaurant to make things better. But unfortunately, it didn't work. Since yesterday, i developed loose motions (4-5 times a day) and then I took Norflox TZ along with ORS solutions to combat dehydration and infection (medicine was recommended to me by a physician on phone). Situation is slightly better than yesterday, but motions are still loose. Please suggest 1. if the medication i m taking is right? 2. How many tablets of Norflox TZ can i take in a day? 3. How many sachet (10  of isabgol) can I take along with it? 4. As fever subsided on day 1 after crocin intake, is covid test recommend? 5. Any other suggestions Thanks

Care AI Shimmer
How are your vitals? Has your weakness improved? Temperature? Any loss of appetite, loss of taste (metallic taste is a side-effect of Tz) & smell, breathlessness? For stomach recovery, please start on a pre-probiotic from any reputed brand. Take that 30 minutes before meals twice a day and continue the course of Nor-Tz (take this after meals) If you have not been in contact with any covid patient and have no symptoms of covid then a test wouldn't be mandatory. Do continue hydration and electrolytes balance. Eat light food like khichdi and allow the stomach to heal.
