Sharp pain right side abdomen or stomach

Hi my wife is having pain on the right side of her abdomen. She had the same pain a month ago. 1st time she got the pain when she had non-veg food for 4days. Now also she has been non-veg for 4 days and she is getting pain. She also recently started eating sprouts. We went to a nearby doctor and he said it's definitely a gall stones go and get an ultra sound. We are worried now, will it lead to an operation? Kindly give suggestions.

get an ultrasound first then plan accordingly, worrying doesn't give solution. if you delay the treatment whatever it is because of fear, she may land up in emergency with new problems.
