Hi It sounds very overwhelming, especially carrying panic since such a young age. I understand the urge to look for medicines, but it’s important to consult a psychiatrist again for a fresh review because worsening symptoms may need a change in treatment rather than repeating old prescriptions. For now, when panic rises, slow your breathing inhale for 4 seconds, hold for 2, exhale for 6 and repeat for a few minutes. Also ground yourself by noticing things around you to bring your mind back to the present. Long term, CBT helps you reduce the fear of panic itself, which is what keeps the cycle going. With the right therapy and guidance, this is very treatable. Take therapy. You can connect with me on nine two six six seven two six zero six five.

I’m sorry you have been dealing with this for so many years — living with panic and anxiety since school days can be truly exhausting and overwhelming, especially when even small situations start triggering intense fear. The reassuring part is that panic disorder is very much treatable, and many people improve significantly with the right combination of medication and therapy, especially CBT. Since your symptoms seem to have worsened now, it would be best to have a fresh psychiatric review rather than restarting old medicines on your own, as treatment often needs to be adjusted over time. In the meantime, whenever you feel a panic episode building up, try slow breathing by inhaling for 4 counts and exhaling gently for 6 counts for a few minutes. Please don’t lose hope — with the right support, you can definitely feel much better, and I also provide online consultation and therapy support if you would like to consult contact me directly on nine eight two six five four five six six zero.
