Severe pain in knee joint
My mother suddenly developed pain in her right knee,we consulted a Dr he recommended x-ray,in ray it showed that the gap between her knee joint has been reduced..!! He advised for physiotherapy n prescribed some calcium tablets! She underwent the Therapy but aftr few days, again the pain started,then Dr adviced to take injection in knee joint..!! Nw my mother is frightened whether to take the injection or not.! Can u plz advice me,can we go for injection,it is safe can it can b cured completely

As we get older people get arthritis. If it is early onset arthritis- she can go for hyaluronidase injection rather than steroid injection. If diagnosis is in doubt - go for MRI scan first.
