Nothing of that sort can happen now for this. If anything had to happen, it would have happened 10yrs ago, that too some sort of infection which would subside in days. Anyways, you are living in your past and the fear of the past. This will create a lot of anxiety and will ruin your current mental health. Please relax and let that event go from your memory, especially the emotional memory associated with it. Do some meditation or take Quantum healing to get rid of fears for ever.
Next Steps
RELAX. NO CONCERNS.

Hello. I understand that this thought has been causing you a great deal of anxiety, and I want to help clear this up for you. I can reassure you with 100% medical certainty that it is biologically impossible for someone else's cells to "implant" on your lips through food or a fingernail. Why this is not possible: Your Immune System: Your body is excellent at protecting you. If any foreign cell touched your lip, your immune system would have destroyed it within seconds. It cannot grow or stay there for ten years. Cell Survival: Human cells cannot survive outside the body on a surface like a fingernail or food. They die almost immediately. No "Implantation": Cells do not have the ability to "burrow" into your skin and start living there. Addressing the Dryness The dryness you feel today is likely a common skin issue or a result of focusing very intensely on your lips because of this worry. Recommendation: Use a Simple Moisturizer: Use a plain, fragrance-free lip balm or petroleum jelly (like Vaseline) to treat the dryness. Speak with a Professional: Since this thought is causing you "severe health anxiety," it may be very helpful to speak with a counselor or therapist. They can provide you with tools to manage these intrusive thoughts so they no longer worry you. Please rest assured that your lips are physically your own, and no foreign cells are present.

I can understand how distressing this thought must be for you, especially since it has stayed in your mind for so long. Medically, what you are describing is not possible — human cells cannot transfer or grow on another person’s lips through food contact, and there is no risk from that incident, even long term. The mucus-like sensation you felt at that time was most likely normal saliva or a transient irritation. What seems to be happening here is health anxiety, where the mind gets stuck on a doubt and keeps replaying it, making it feel very real and worrying. The dryness of lips is also not related to that event and can have many simple causes. The good part is that this condition is very treatable with the right guidance, reassurance, and sometimes therapy. You will feel much better once this cycle is addressed properly.

Is tarah se kisi dusre vyakti ke cells aapke lips par permanently implant hona medically possible nahi hai. Aap jo sensation ya dryness feel kar rahi hain, wo kisi infection ya cell transfer ki wajah se nahi hai. Ye zyada tar dryness ya anxiety-related perception ho sakta hai. Agar concern zyada hai to ek general checkup karwa sakti hain, lekin serious problem ka koi indication nahi hai.
