your intense anxiety, depression, and perfectionism may stem from unresolved childhood conflicts, where striving for perfection became a way to feel in control. Medications like clonazepam may ease symptoms temporarily but don’t address the deeper emotional pain, and overuse can be dangerous. I strongly encourage you to seek a psychodynamic therapist who can help you explore these patterns in a safe space and develop healthier coping strategies. Please also consult your psychiatrist about your medication, especially the clonazepam, and reach out to crisis support if needed. You don’t have to face this alone.
