Septoplasty is one of the fundamental surgeries in Rhinology and is usually the first technique taught to us as we begin our training. Over a period of time we learn more sophisticated techniques which are less invasive, better postoperative comforts and have better aesthetic outcomes. The procedure that I do now is termed Minimally invasive Endoscopic Nasal Surgery.

Next Steps

As with any nasal surgery, the basic technique is very economical and may even be totally free in most medical colleges in Chennai, but a senior and reputed Rhinologist may command a Surgeon's fee of ₹2,00,000 alone!
