Hi Dr,
From 2years I am suffering from fungal infection on my thighs... I visited a dermatologist at starting but when I had those medicine I suffered from severe diarrhea... I stopped that medicine... From then till now it's going on spreading and spreading... It's very itching all the time again I visited a dermatologist butt a month ago but at that time I had a month old baby so she didn't gave me any medicine just told to apply keto-b ointment.. no use no affect... Now what shall I do...??? Plz explain me... Now my baby is 4months old can I have antifungal treatment now...???

You may be suffering from tinea cruris which is fungal infection of the inner thighs and buttocks area. It can be treated by taking four to six weeks of anti fungal treatment which includes tablets along with creams. Do not use soap over that area. Mistreatment with over the counter Steroid containing creams like fourderm, panderm, quadriderm, hh zole, candid b etc lead to repeated case of recurrence and also side effects due to application.
