Right knee MRI report- treatment advise
Question: Hello Doctor, I had a knee injury recently and got an MRI done. My report shows: Mild sprain of ACL Mild sprain of MCL (near femoral attachment) Grade 1 chondromalacia patella Minimal knee joint effusion Mild soft tissue swelling I am currently experiencing pain while walking and some swelling. I would like to know: Do I need complete rest or can I walk normally? How long will recovery take? Is physiotherapy required? If yes, when should I start? Can this heal without surgery? What medicines or precautions should I follow? Is knee support or brace recommended? When can I return to normal activities? Thank you.
