After reviewing your ultrasound and lipid report:
Next Steps
✅ Step 1: Blood Tests (If not done) • LFT (SGPT/SGOT) • Fasting sugar / HbA1cThyroid profile • Serum insulin (if overweight) ⸻ ✅ Step 2: Weight & Metabolism Correction If overweight: Target 7–10% weight reduction in 6 months. This alone can reverse Grade I fatty liver. ⸻ ✅ Step 3: Medication? At this stage: • No statin needed immediately (unless other risk factors) • No liver medication required if enzymes normal Sometimes doctors give: • Vitamin E (for fatty liver) • Silymarin (supportive, not mandatory) But primary treatment = lifestyle. ⸻ ✅ Step 4: Follow-Up Repeat: • Ultrasound after 6–9 months • Lipid profile after 3 months
