Your baby’s pattern looks completely normal and reassuring. At 4 months, a weight of 7 kg is good, and feeding every 3 hours during the day is more than adequate. Passing urine 6–7 times a day shows proper hydration. It’s also very common at this age for babies to sleep longer at night, so lighter diapers overnight or passing urine only once or twice is not a concern. Since your baby is active and feeding well, you don’t need to strictly wake him every 3 hours at nightdemand feeding is enough.
Next Steps
Continue feeding on demand, especially during the day, and let him sleep at night if he is comfortable. Just keep an eye on urine output, activity, and weight gain during routine check-ups.
Health Tips
Don’t worry about lighter night diapers if daytime urine is good. Avoid forcing feeds during sleep. Seek medical advice only if urine reduces, feeding becomes poor, or the baby seems less active.
At 5th month demand feeding should be enough. Make sure that the gap is not more than 4 hours. Baby should be twice of his birth weight now. So seems pretty good
