A Vitamin D level of 13 suggests deficiency. Usually, Uprise D3 60K is not taken daily or all 12 capsules within a week. The commonly prescribed regimen is 1 capsule (60,000 IU) once weekly for 6–8 weeks, preferably after food, followed by a maintenance dose depending on repeat levels and symptoms.  After completing the course, Vitamin D levels are generally rechecked after around 8–12 weeks to assess response. Adequate sunlight exposure, calcium intake, and diet are also important.  Please do not self-medicate with high-dose Vitamin D for prolonged periods without medical supervision, as excessive intake can also cause complications. It is best to follow the regimen advised by your treating doctor based on your reports and symptoms.

Vitamin D level of 13 does need proper correction, but the dosage schedule and duration should be planned correctly based on your reports, symptoms and diet. Don’t worry this is very commonly manageable. You can consult with me once and I’ll guide you with the exact way to take the capsules, follow up timing and long term maintenance plan properly.

"A Vitamin D level of 13 ng/mL is classified as a 'Deficiency' and explains why you may be feeling fatigued or experiencing bone/muscle aches. To restore your levels safely and effectively, a 'loading dose' strategy is required. Taking 60,000 IU (60k) once a week is the standard clinical protocol for moderate-to-severe deficiency. This high-dose approach allows your liver and fatty tissues to store the vitamin and gradually release it into your bloodstream to support bone health and immunity
Next Steps
To discuss if you also need a Calcium supplement to support this Vitamin D therapy and to review your symptoms of fatigue, please book a full consultation session via my Practo profile."
Health Tips
Correcting your Vitamin D deficiency will significantly boost your energy and long-term bone density. Please book a full session for a maintenance plan after your 12-week course.
