Regarding rabies vaccine
My mom got scratched on the foot by a cat 3 months ago there wasn't any blood but was bruises. The cat wasn't vaccinated . It died after 1 months . She did took tetanus vaccine before the bite but didn't get rabies vaccine after it. Can she now take rabies vaccine ? Is it necessary? If yes , then what should be the required order ? Thanks doctor

ARV is mandatory in cases of cat/dog bite or scratch, but should be taken within 7days of bite in the arm on Days 0,3,7,28 In cases of bleeding ARS(injection into the wound) should be taken only once in a lifetime. And TT should be taken if hasn't been taken in a period of 3months.
Next Steps
Counsult nearby vaccination centre as its been over a month.
