First of all you have to accept this that baby is eating all other things except rice therefore baby will not be nutritionally deprived . There are occasions of food fadism in everyone so you can avoid giving rice at the moment when baby is into mood of rejection so it doesn’t become a psychological war between the two of you .
Head hitting can be due to ear infection for which you need to give more inputs like ear discharge ,ear pulling , swelling etc . It can also be a part of irritability due to anemia .Most likely in this case it could be behavioral too . So be gentle & understanding & get in touch again .Dont panic please .
