Hello Doctor. My baby is 3.5 months now with weight 5.6 Kg. His birth weight was 2.75 Kg. Due to some unforeseen reasons his first vaccination of (first dose )1.5 month was delayed by 2 weeks so next vaccine also got delayed so as to keep gap between two doses. Right now he is 3.5 months but due to delayed schedule we had to go for 2.5 months (2nf dose ) vaccine and next month when turns 4.5 months we will have to go for 3.5 months (3rd dose) vaccine. So I want to know will this delayed schedule affect my baby or the gap is ok to be delayed for few weeks. I'm stressed a lot thinking that will this delayed schedule affect his health anyway ? His very first BCG dose after birth was given on time but next 3 primary seems to be delayed.

Greetings. Relax. It is fine to be little delayed. At least he is getting now. Lucky one. GAVI INSTITUTE is there in eight states. Register with them . They remind you. All free even vaccines.

This is okay.. you can now complete schedule as per delayed schedule. It will not affect baby. Every vaccine has a range of time in which you can give that vaccine, you are in that range for all 3 primary vaccine. So don't worry.
Next Steps
you can download latest IAP or immunization schedule for your information of vaccination.
