A painless red swollen bump around the anus that has been present for 3 days without itching is most commonly an external haemorrhoid (pile), a skin tag, or a small cyst. These are very common and are generally not dangerous. An external pile can appear as a soft, reddish swelling around the anal opening, especially after straining, constipation, or prolonged sitting. The fact that it is not painful and not itching is a good sign.
Next Steps
Please consult me directly on Practo for a detailed evaluation — a proper examination will confirm the cause and help decide whether any treatment is needed.

Hi, a red swollen bump in that area is quite common and often nothing serious like a small boil or irritation.  Try keeping it clean and dry, avoid straining.  It usually settles, but better to get it checked.  Feel free to consult for further guidance.
