Have recurrent uti last 5years.each time some different strain of bacteria their.
Few questions:-'1) resistance increasing very few % of total oral medicine is sensitive in latest culture
2) so is this same old bacteria which came in earlier culture and change mutation or new exposure fresh one how to know same
3) if sensitive of earlier culture is repeated in new culture but few sensitive now turned resistance and antibiotics resistance of earlier culture 100% is resistances in new culture means same bacteria change mutation.and this time new few sensitive medicine earlier now become resistance since same bacteria was their in body for few years n it's has developed ways to.fight antibiotics?
That way this work?
4) every new culture has new bacteria means most of old bacteria died 100% died or partially only.it dies and few bacteria remains
5) how to get rid of prostate infection??
Please clarify point wise if possible
Thanks

Male - 39 years
1. Prostate infection - Prostatitis - UTI (Urinary tract infection)
2. Since 5 years RECURRENCY of infection.
Point 1 - Since your is fighting with continuous infection, you have to not only consider curative medicine but also prevention is more important.
Point 2 - In Ayurveda, UTI is considered as Shukraja Mutrakrrcha where difficulty in urination along with pain and burning sensation is seen.
Point 3 - As a curative purpose, Ayurvedic medications like gokshuradi guggulu, chandraprabha vati, Purnanvadi kashaya, Neeri kft tablets etc., will help you
Point 4 - As a both curative and preventive purpose, mainly Uttara basti one among the Panchakarma procedures is the most useful one.

I understand your concern. In long-standing cases of recurrent UTI with prostate infection, antibiotic resistance is common and very few medicines remain effective. In Ayurveda, such chronic infections are linked to imbalance of pitta and kapha dosha and weakness of the urinary channels (mutravaha srotas).
Yes, Ayurveda can help in such cases by improving immunity, reducing prostate inflammation, and preventing recurrence. Medicines like Gokshuradi guggulu, Chandraprabha vati, Varunadi kwath, and Punarnava are often used (exact dose and duration must be decided after proper consultation). In resistant cases, Panchakarma therapies such as Uttar Basti are also beneficial.
Next Steps
Wants to check your recent urine culture, prostate size, and kidney function tests.
With proper Ayurvedic treatment, long-term relief and control is possible, though it requires a personalized plan and follow-up. I would strongly advise consultation for safe and effective management.
Health Tips
Drink adequate water and take coconut water regularly.
Avoid very spicy, oily, and fermented foods.
Roshan, youâve raised very important and valid points. Iâll clarify your doubts one by one in simple terms:
1. Resistance increasing
Yes, over time bacteria exposed to multiple antibiotics can become resistant. Thatâs why fewer medicines remain effective.
2. Same old bacteria or new exposure?
Cultures can show the same species again or a different one. If itâs the same species but with a different resistance pattern, it may be the same old bacteria adapting (mutation/resistance). If a totally new species is seen, itâs usually a fresh infection.
3. Sensitive earlier â resistant now
Yes, this means the bacteria present have adapted to survive earlier antibiotics. That is how antibiotic resistance developsâthrough repeated exposure and mutation.
4. Does new culture = 100% old bacteria died?
Not necessarily. Most may have been killed, but a small fraction can survive. These survivors are often resistant and multiply, which is why resistant infections reappear.
5. Prostate infection (chronic prostatitis)
This is tricky because bacteria can hide deep in prostate tissue where antibiotics donât penetrate well. Thatâs why infections recur. Long courses of antibiotics are often required, and sometimes additional supportive therapies (like Ayurvedaâs mutravirechana, basti, herbal medicines like gokshura, varun, punarnava) can help improve bladderâprostate health and reduce recurrence.
ð In your case, you need a combined approach: strict culture-guided antibiotics under a urologist plus supportive Ayurvedic treatment to reduce recurrence and improve urinary/prostate health.
