I understand your concern. --- ### 🔹 1. **Masturbation & Prostatitis / UTI** * **Masturbation is generally *not* harmful** and does *not* directly cause UTI or prostatitis if done hygienically. * **However**, *excessive or unhygienic masturbation* (unclean hands, wrong lubricant, aggressive rubbing) may irritate the prostate or urethra → possibly worsening existing inflammation. * When you already have **cystitis, infection, or pelvic inflammation**, it is **better to avoid or reduce masturbation temporarily** until fully healed. ✔ **So during current UTI/cystitis episode – avoid masturbation till complete recovery.** ✔ Afterwards, **mild and hygienic masturbation** is not harmful. --- ### 🔸 2. **Burning while sitting (not while urinating)** This is typical of **bladder wall or prostate irritation**. Since you have **high PVR (post-void residual urine)** → urinary retention → urine stagnation → more frequent infections. **Please ensure:** * Drink warm water, avoid cold drinks. * Fully empty bladder when urinating (lean forward slightly). * Do *not* hold urine. * Avoid sitting long on hard surfaces. --- ### 🔹 3. **Ayurvedic Management** #### **Internal Medicine (start under guidance):** | Symptom | Medicine | Dose | | -------------------------- | --------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------- | | Burning, UTI | ******* | You’re already taking – continue 2 tsp + water twice after food | | Infection & retention | ********** | 2 tabs twice daily after meals | | Burning & irritation | *****Guggulu** | 2 tabs twice daily | | Pain/inflammation | *****Kwath (*)** | 20 ml twice daily | | Residual urine/Prostatitis | ***Guggulu** | 2 tabs twice daily | If infection confirmed in tests – ****+ **is very effective**. 🔹 Stop medicines if constipation or severe dryness occurs. --- ### 🔸 4. **Diet & Lifestyle** 🚫 Avoid: Chillies, pickles, tea/coffee, spicy/oily food, alcohol, sitting long, holding urine. ✔ Prefer: Warm water, barley water, lauki/muskmelon/khira, coconut water (if no diabetes), boiled vegetables, pomegranate. 🧘 *Practice Moola Bandha (pelvic floor exercise)* & **gentle yogas like Vajrasana after meal**. --- ### 🔹 5. **Urine Retention Evaluation** Since recurrence is twice a year and always different organism – please **rule out:** * Chronic prostatitis * Bladder outlet obstruction * Neurogenic bladder 👉 **Please go for a Urologist consult for PVR and possibly cystoscopy if recurs again.** --- ### 🔸 6. **Important** **Do not share WhatsApp number here.** This platform does not allow personal contact sharing for your safety. --- ### 🔹 Summary ✔ Avoid masturbation until infection is treated ✔ Continue **** ✔ Increase warm hydration ✔ Correct bladder emptying habit ✔ Seek urologist opinion if recurrence continues. --- If you update me with: * Current medicines and doses * Urine culture report organism * PVR value …I can refine the treatment further. 💬 **Feel free to share details, I’ll guide you further precisely.** Advice- self medication is hazardous, always consult ayurvedic doctor before taking ayurvedic medicine. Consult me personally for details.

Check your blood parameters and get HAIP Root Cause Analysis done. Find out the cause of your issue. Only then will the recurrence stop. Follow HAIP DIET and avoid bladder irritants.

Oh its really a difficult thing to face recurrent utis. And it needs to be cleared asap. Or else it may cause kidney dysfunction in future. You can take chandanasava thats fine but take more fluids, juices and water. You may also take gokshura vati-2-0-2(A/F),Neeri syp.-10ml for 3 months for proper detoxification of your kidneys and also for removing pittaja doshas thats aggravated and causing those microbes to come up. Sometimes its also due to ama or toxins produced in ur digestive system that may lead to e coli and other harmful microbes.
Next Steps
Get USG per abdomen done and urine analysis also C/S urine test done.
Health Tips
Drink more water. Eat radish.Do regular exercises and reduce stress. Also you may start taking probiotics including curd or buttermilk daily after food.Avoid masterbating or else itll spread the infection.

Recurrent urine infection with high PVR may indicate bladder inflammation or prostate involvement. Masturbation in moderation doesn’t cause UTI, but poor hygiene or incomplete emptying can worsen symptoms. Ayurveda helps strengthen bladder function, reduce infection, and improve urine flow naturally. I suggest you consult me for a personalized treatment plan.
