Doctor 3 weeks ago I had a dog bite so I had to follow vaccine schedule for rabies 3 shots completed again I happened to get a bite from a bat which entered my room through windows it was during the day and I think the bat is rabid , it went hiding ,
my fourth dose is on September 17 2023 ..
now I'm panicking ,would my past 3 dose save me from the re-exposure ??
Should I have repeat the cycle I'm getting the shots from an govt hospital will it effective enough to fight of the rabies my third vaccine shot was on 27 th August 2023

Your previous three shots should work and you should be having an immunity by now as it takes 7 days for immunisation shots ( active immunisation ) to start working and we do not give immunoglobulin after 7 days .
