Razor cut on arm
I got a cut from a razor while shaving my arms, and it drew blood. My last tetanus booster was on Nov 30 2025, can I get tetanus? Should I get a booster again?

No . You should not take Inj Tetvac. Normally Inj Tetvac is supposed to be effective for six months. In your case it is only  a little over 3 months.

Based on your history, you do not need another tetanus booster at this time. Clinical Reasoning: Vaccination Window: A tetanus booster (Td/Tdap) typically provides robust protection for 5 to 10 years. Since your last dose was on November 30, 2025, your antibody levels are currently very high and will effectively protect you against this injury. Injury Type: A clean razor cut is considered a "minor, clean wound," which carries a very low risk compared to deep, puncture wounds or those contaminated with soil/rust. Recommended Wound Care: Clean the Wound: Wash the area thoroughly with mild soap and running water to remove any debris. Antiseptic Application: Apply an over-the-counter antibiotic ointment (like Mupirocin or Povidone-iodine). Monitor for Infection: Keep the area dry. If you notice increasing redness, swelling, pus, or if the pain worsens after 48 hours, please consult a doctor for a physical review. Next Steps: No further action is required regarding the tetanus shot. You are fully protected.

No need, TT injection protects for 10 years, however if you get a dirty wound within 5 years i.e wound contaminated with soil or dirt you will need another shot. As long as its a clean wound no need to worry

Don't worry, you are safe. Since your last tetanus booster was in November 2025, you do not need another booster shot for this cut.
Next Steps
Just wash the cut with clean running water and mild soap to remove any dirt.Put a small band aid to protect it from dust while it heals.
