Hello . While taking the 4th dose of the Rabies vaccine I noticed that they gave me less than 1 ml of Rabivax vaccine (1 ml dose) . While taking the 2nd dose the same problem arose and I repeated the 2nd dose within 24 hrs . Can I repeat the 4th dose after 24 hrs ? And if I can then are there any chances of overdose as I've already repeated once ?

Hello
Thank you for your question regarding the Rabies vaccine dosage. It’s important to ensure that each dose of the Rabies vaccine is administered correctly to guarantee full protection against the virus.
If you received less than the recommended 1 ml dose for the 4th dose of Rabivax, it is generally safe to repeat the dose within 24 hours to ensure adequate immunity. Since you have already repeated the 2nd dose once without issues, the risk of overdose is minimal, as the vaccine is well-tolerated even with slight variations. However, repeating doses frequently should be avoided unless absolutely necessary.
For personalized guidance and to address any concerns about your vaccination schedule, I recommend a **consultation with a rabies vaccination specialist**. Proper evaluation will ensure your immunization remains on track without unnecessary risks.
