Usually you take it as day 0,7,21 as pre exposure pr day 0 3,7,28 as post exposure If you have completed any of this you have lifelong protection but in case of another bore after one month you need to take  a booster dose

Dear Patient,  You have completed the **Rabivax-S (anti-rabies vaccine)** course correctly on **Jan 11, Jan 14, and Jan 17, 2025**. Here’s what you need to know about protection from pet scratches/bites:  1. **Protection Duration**:     - After a **full 3-dose course** (like yours), you are **protected for 3-6 months**.     - If exposed to a **new scratch/bite after this period**, you may need:       - **2 booster doses** (Day 0 & Day 3) if the exposure is within **6 months to 1 year**.       - **Full course again** if exposure occurs **after 1 year**.  2. **Pet-Related Risks**:     - Even vaccinated pets can carry bacteria (e.g., Pasteurella) causing infections.     - **Immediate wound care** (wash with soap/water for 15 mins + antiseptic) is essential for any scratch/bite.  3. **Next Steps**:     - Monitor your pet’s health/vaccination status.     - If scratched/bitten:       - Clean wound immediately.       - Consult a doctor to assess if a booster is needed.  **Consultation Advised**:  Since rabies is fatal but preventable, let’s discuss your pet’s vaccination history and any recent exposures. For personalized advice, contact me on WhatsApp at **Eight Zero Zero Nine Eight Two One Three Three Two**.
