You cannot get rabies from the rabies vaccine, even if you’ve taken multiple doses. The rabies vaccine is made from inactivated (killed) virus and does not cause rabies, regardless of the number of doses.
Throat pain and trouble swallowing should be evaluated by a doctor — may be viral, reflux-related, or very rarely neurological.
You’re almost certainly over-vaccinated, and probably safe from rabies, but you should avoid unnecessary doses going forward.
rabies vaccines are made from inactivated virus, so it’s not possible to get rabies from the vaccine, no matter how many doses you’ve taken. The tingling you felt may have been due to nerve irritation or stress, and since it’s resolved, it’s not a concern. The throat pain and difficulty swallowing are more likely due to a minor infection—not rabies. Take warm salt water gargles, stay hydrated, and if symptoms persist or worsen, do get checked in person.
